Marianna read correspondence received from QCPCA regarding adoption of new constitution.

Extract from letter is as follows:-

“Education Queensland has launched a new model constitution for P & C Associations that meets the

requirements of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006. P & C Associations are required under the

Act to have a constitution.

The 2008 P & C Model Constitution will replace your current P & C Constitution.

Your P & C Association must adopt this model constitution by the end of Term 3, 2008. “

Marianna read through Table of Contents of the Constitution which outlines all areas it covers.

Under a majority vote the New Constitution was adopted.
