Victoria Park State School has a very supportive and active school community.

Our P&C meets regularly on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and conducts many fundraisers throughout the year to raise funds for school projects. Over the past few years P&C have helped with air-conditioning the whole school, provided a parent meeting room, providing shade for our pool and in 2007 provided $18000 to initiate a wireless network across the school. In 2008 the P & C will provides fund to provide playground equipment specifically designed for senior students.

The Smith Family organisation is also based at our school. This organisation provides support for many families in our school community.

We have close ties with Souths Leagues Club who supported our school Rugby League Team by providing jerseys and donating money each year to enable sporting equipment to be purchased.

In 2008 the school has obtained the services of a School Chaplain. One of the responsibilities of the School Chaplain is the organise the Breakfast Club which will commence in term 2 2008 on Monday mornings.
