CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

At Victoria Park State school there are many opportunities for students to participate in Cultural Activities:

Every child gets the opportunity to sing in a Choir

Auditions are held for Instrumental Music, Drama and Dance Activities

School Parade – The Concert band and String Ensemble take turns at providing the Music for Advance Australia fair each week

KMEIA Regional Choral Festival – Year 6/7 Choir

Entertain Preschool at Easter – Choir

Twilight Concerts held at the school in Term 1 and Term 3 for the Instrumental Program students

ATSI Community Parade

Anzac Day Ceremony held at the school

Community Anzac Day March – whole school group

Mackay arts Festival Strut – whole school group

Mackay Arts Festival Lunch Box Concerts held at the Mackay entertainment centre – different groups chosen each year

Entertaining the Senior Citizens – Choirs, Strings, Bands, Dance
